This policy explains what Solstice & Co. collects when you visit or buy from solsticeand.co, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do about it.
What we collect
When you place an order: your name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number if you give it, the contents of your order, and any personalization text or gift message you enter. We also keep a record of the recipient's name and address for gift orders.
Payment details: entered directly with our payment processor. Card numbers never reach our servers and we cannot see them. We only receive the last four digits, the card brand, and whether the payment succeeded.
When you just browse: pages viewed, products viewed, items added to cart, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. This comes from cookies and similar technologies.
When you sign up for email: your email address, and whether you open or click our messages.
Why we use it
To take payment, make and ship your order, engrave what you asked us to engrave, email you about that order, handle returns and support, prevent fraud, understand which products and pages work, and — if you have opted in — send you marketing email. That's the whole list.
Advertising and analytics
We use the Meta pixel and Conversions API to measure whether our ads lead to purchases and to build audiences for advertising. This means Meta receives events such as page views, add-to-carts and purchases, and identifiers that may include a hashed version of your email address. You can limit this in your Meta ad preferences, in your browser settings, and by declining non-essential cookies on our cookie banner.
Who we share it with
Only companies that help us run the store: our ecommerce platform and hosting provider, our payment processor, shipping carriers and fulfilment partners, our email provider, and our analytics and advertising providers. We also disclose information where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
Order records for as long as tax and accounting law requires (generally seven years). Marketing contact details until you unsubscribe. Analytics data in aggregated form after 26 months.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, stop sending you marketing, or send it to you in a portable file. If you are in the EU, UK, California, or another region with specific privacy legislation, those statutory rights apply to you in full and we will honour them without making it difficult. Contact us using the details in the store footer and we will respond within 30 days.
You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link at the bottom of every message.
Children
Our store is not intended for anyone under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Security
Traffic to the site is encrypted with TLS. Access to order data is limited to people who need it to run the store. No system is perfect, so if a breach ever affects your data we will tell you and the relevant regulator promptly.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be announced on the site.
